Plugin SDK
For liferay development you must have plugin SDK except you are not using maven tool. If you use maven then there is no requirement of plugin SDK. Whta can we do with plugin SDK?
Liferay plugin SDK is liferay development environment by which we can develop different types of plugin in liferay such as
1. Portlet
2. Liferay Theme
3. Liferay Hook
4. Liferay layout
Plugin SDK is based on popular Apache Ant tool. It can be configured with any IDE like eclipse, netbeans etc. However for liferay development it has to be configured properly.
